Leadership and Etiquette Classes Help Empower High School Girls on College Campus

Valhalla, NY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2008:  Westchester Community College will launch its continuing educational programs this fall with a fun-filled and informative program geared to girls grades 9-12.  Westchester-based Pamela Minyard, Inc., leadership and etiquette consultants will present Girls Institute of Leadership and Integration's program entitled: Teen Etiquette for Today on Saturday, November 1, 2008 and on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Westchester Community College, 75 Grasslands Road, Valhalla, NY, 10595, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The seven-hour program will teach girls important social skills, including introducing yourself and others, handshaking, eye contact, extending and accepting invitations, thank-you notes, ABCs of dining, giving and receiving compliments, and telephone etiquette.

"We make the class fun so the girls enjoy it.  But, of course, it's the parents who recognize the imprtance of etiquette for their children's futures," says President Pamela Minyard, certified etiquette consultant.

The discounted cost of $75.00 per participant includes the program and an illustrated workbook.  For more information or to enroll your teenager, contact Westchester Community College registrar at (914) 606-6830, or visit Pamela Minyard, Inc. at www.PamelaMinyard.com.
